Thanks to donations made to IHI, the Osant clinic in Beaumont (a municipality located in the Grand'Anse Department, which was one of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Matthew) continues to provide health care to its patients.

In the past year, the number of patients IHI has treated for cancer has doubled. Hurricane Matthew made landfall in the south of Haiti on October 4th. The IHI team and our partners at the Jack Brewer Foundation and Haiti Air Ambulance were on the ground beginning October 6th, providing relief to those devastated by Matthew. Our medical teams were out in the field in three of the cities hit hardest by the storm.
