In the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew...

Hurricane Matthew made landfall in the south of Haiti on October 4th. The IHI team and our partners at the Jack Brewer Foundation and Haiti Air Ambulance were on the ground beginning October 6th, providing relief to those devastated by Matthew. Our medical teams were out in the field in three of the cities hit hardest by the storm. Thanks to all of our donors, we gave out 35 new roofs to families whose homes were severely affected by the storm, 15 of which went out to our cancer patients. We also distributed food, 550,000 water purification tablets and delivered tens of thousands of medical supplies to hospitals in the affected regions. Over $30,000 were raised during the past month.
