East Star Medical of Miami recently donated laboratory supplies and equipment to IHI. The equipment was given to the General Hospital, Haiti's largest public hospital, located in Port-au-Prince. The donations contributed to the re-opening of the hospital's pathology lab, which had been non-functional for months. The opening of the pathology lab is a crucial step in targeting cancer in Haiti in a comprehensive manner.
