IHI brings cancer education to communities in the west and southeast of Haiti.

Over the past week, the IHI team has visited a number of towns in the west and southeast of Haiti to educate communities on breast and cervical cancers. Using booklets that IHI developed through community-based research methods over the past year, the team has completed the seminars in churches, local organizations, schools, and health centers in Jacmel, Carrefour, and Croix-des-Bouquets. In the span of a week, over 1400 women, men, boys and girls have participated in the seminars!
