IHI Community Health Worker Training

The training was headed by IHI's own counselor, Mme. Yolette and physician's nurse, Holdie.The overarching theme was aimed at properly helping patients and their families navigate this tough period in their lives. The CHW's role is to offer support to those affected by both breast and cervical cancer and also spread awareness.

We had about 14 people in total attend the training. Many of the community health workers that participated were some of our patients and their parents.
